<p>In Parliament, the fourth of June in the year of his Lord, seventeen fifty. A motion has been put forth within His Majesty's Parliament for parliamentary review of Britain's current alliances and diplomatic relations. </p><p>
<i>"Mr. Speaker, it will be noted that I have recently met with the following nations to reconfirm our alliances; Denmark-Norway, France, Spain, Portugal, Poland-Prussia, The Habsburg Empire, and Switzerland.</i> </p><p><i>I humbly request permission to assist the Polish Commonwealth with a Naval presence in the black sea to assist in the contested territory of CRIMEA. </i> I humbly request permission from this house to dispatch an expedition to resupply New South Wales, and attempt to establish trade with the Tuʻi Tonga, extending our good faith to the people of South Pacific. I humbly request permission from this house to dispatch an emissary to the Dutch to negotiate a potential compromise concerning the contestants of each other's land. I will formally request that IF no mention of the Dutch side of St. Martin is noted (by the DISNEY LORE), then we will not proceed to establish claim over it. In return I will request they relinquish all claim of British Guiana, Ceylon, and Malacca-Singapore. If they deny these claims, I will petition this house to increase this year's budget to prepare for a potential Dutch invasion of the territories in question. </p><p><i>LET IT BE NOTED THAT IF IT IS RELEASED THAT we control THE entirety of the island in 1755, then I request the Dutch hand over the territory in 1755, if they comply to the previous terms stated above."</i> - Lord Newcastle, Palace of Westminster, 4 June, 1750. </p><p>It was the opinion of the House of Lords to proceed with these requests made by Lord Newcastle on behalf of HM Government. </p>

<p>In Parliament, the fourth of June in the year of his Lord, seventeen fifty. A motion has been put forth within His Majesty's Parliament to establish a military mission to Switzerland and to reconfirm our military alliance, and trade deals. It is the opinion of the House of Lords that this mission take place as long as Mr. Firebreaker deems necessary. If he seeks to cancel his mission at anytime, he will require special approval from the Privy Council to do so, until then he shall be under the command of the Swiss government/military on our behalf. </p> <nav id="toc" class="toc" data-loaded="false"><div id="toctitle"><h2>Contents</h2><span class="toctoggle">[show]</span></div>

</nav><h2><span class="mw-headline" id="Preamble">Preamble</span></h2> <p>This treaty is signed and agreed upon in good faith, with a foundation of friendship, cooperation, and mutual respect. Both the Kingdom of Great Britain and the Kingdom of Switzerland (signatory nations) will work together to pursue a better future putting cooperation and diplomacy before aggression. </p> <h2><span class="mw-headline" id="Sovereignty">Sovereignty</span></h2> <p>In the signing of this treaty both nations remain sovereign. Completely retaining their individuality and political ideology. </p> <h2><span class="mw-headline" id="Non-Aggression">Non-Aggression</span></h2> <p>No member nation of either party will declare war on, or knowingly aid or help in any manner, an enemy of the other alliance. Nor will any member of either alliance spy or commit espionage against the other. </p> <h2><span class="mw-headline" id="Friendship">Friendship</span></h2> <p>All members of the signatory nations will treat the other as if they were one of its own. When addressing grievances, all members will use proper respect and seek proper diplomatic channels in resolving the issue. </p> <h2><span class="mw-headline" id="Information">Information</span></h2> <p>If either of the signatories find themselves in possession of any information that might impact the security of the other, they will pass on that information through proper channels. </p> <h2><span class="mw-headline" id="Assistance">Assistance</span></h2> <p>The signatories are under a binding agreement to provide military or financial aid to the other nation; if such aid is needed the requests will be made known via the embassy of each nation or directly between the nation leaders. The nations involved will also lower tariffs upon each nation's goods, encourage the trade of technological development, and growth aid. Each of the nations will make their trade ports, markets open and accessible to the necessary individuals of mercantile background from the other nations to help coordinate trading circles to the benefit of all parties involved. </p><p>Note: The Honourable Mr. Firebreaker shall act as foreign advisor to the Swiss military and assist in the recruitment, and training of their soldiers in exchange for the usage of Swiss mercenaries in any future conflicts the Crown and Empire deems fit. </p> <h2><span class="mw-headline" id="Withdrawal">Withdrawal</span></h2> <p>It is recommended that all diplomatic options are used to preserve this treaty. However if either nation wishes to withdraw from the treaty they will give 48 hours notice, that will be posted in both embassies. No act of aggression will take place between the two nations directly or indirectly till the 48 hours have passed. </p>

<p>In Parliament, the fourth of June in the year of his Lord, seventeen fifty. A motion has been put forth within His Majesty's Parliament to ratify an renewed alliance between Spain and the "Spanish Syndicate". It is the opinion of the House of Lords and HM Government that as long as our good friend, Ferdinand VI is not improperly removed from his throne, and all terms of this treaty are met (already agreed upon by the representatives of Britain and Spain), this treaty should have our support. </p><p>Let it be noted that the House of Lords voted in SUPPORT of this ratification. </p><p>

</nav><h2><span class="mw-headline" id="British_Empire_allies_with_the_Spanish_Syndicate">British Empire allies with the Spanish Syndicate</span></h2> <h3><span class="mw-headline" id="Preamble">Preamble</span></h3> <p>The British Empire and the Spanish Empire, shall renew a state of mutual benefit and cooperation, also known as an alliance. </p> <h3><span class="mw-headline" id="Article_I">Article I</span></h3> <p>The nations of Great Britain and Spain ("Signatory Alliance") join together for the mutual military alliance as well as a renewed trade deal between their two territories. </p> <h3><span class="mw-headline" id="Article_II">Article II</span></h3> <p>Should the Signatory Alliances’ mutual military alliance be threatened, the Signatory Alliances are obliged to use any and all means necessary to address such threat and to defend one another when in pursuit thereof. </p> <h3><span class="mw-headline" id="Article_III">Article III</span></h3> <p>The Signatory Alliance agree to refrain from hostilities against one another, and to resolve all disputes peaceably. </p> <h3><span class="mw-headline" id="Article_IV">Article IV</span></h3>

• As long as Ferdinand VI is King (unless he is inactive for 2 months to which the active members of said nation may choose to remove him or provided a credible reason for his removal as King) the Spanish Syndicate is recognized by the British Empire as a state on the server Valor, and as the only legitimate Spanish government in the Caribbean.
• Both the Syndicate and the Empire will target illegitimate groups attempting to discredit the true governments of Spain and Britain -- the Syndicate and Empire. Both sides will cut off relations with imitation groups (both Spanish and British).
• The British Empire will not take military action on the server Valor, which is being conquered by the Syndicate. British Empire members will be strongly discouraged from interfering in Syndicate affairs on Valor.
• The Empire and Syndicate will not attempt to recruit members from each other.
• The Empire and Syndicate, to a certain degree, will partake in events and devote soldiers to help the other militarily.
• The Syndicate will not endorse or assist in the spread of piracy in any way, shape or form.
• Spain under the new government shall obey the Vienna Accords, just as the previous government has, and shall respect their King's decision to accept these accords as law to their nation.

<h3><span class="mw-headline" id="Article_V">Article V</span></h3> <p>The Signatory Alliance agree that breaking any of the terms presented in this document shall result in an immediate cancellation of this treaty. </p> <h3><span class="mw-headline" id="Article_VI">Article VI</span></h3> <p>When the Signatory Alliance constitute a threat, for the purposes of Article I, and how to respond will be determined by the Signatory Alliance on an ad hoc basis. </p>

<p>Lord Newcastle </p><p>In Parliament, the nineteenth of March in the year of his Lord, seventeen fifty. A motion has been put forth within His Majesty's Parliament to recognise the claims of one, Giovanni Diavolo over the regions and territories of Tonkin, Annam, and Cochin-China that comprise “Vietnam” knowing that the territory and claim in question will be ceded to the Habsburg dominions, one of our most closest allies during the War of Austrian Succession. To NOT formally recognise our ally’s claims would surely lead to a strain if we seek to negotiate policy in the future. </p><p>If recognised, Mr. Diavolo's claim of Vietnam to be given to the Habsburgs, but shall set a precedent for all to come who seek formal legitimate recognition from this House in the possible near future that the acquisition of land to be traded for a duly government position within a foreign nation is acceptable to this nation. </p><p>In light of this bill, my government has promised regardless of this House’s decision on the matter of recognition of the Austrian claim that with the accords that shall be presented at the Conference at Vienna among all nations who seek to attend shall CORRECT such corruption, deceit, and bribery of the most heinous sort by barring it from recognition IF the congress of all nations who present themselves at Vienna all come to a most mutual consensus with the terms presented. </p><p>NOTED: The House of Lords have voted in OPPOSITION to this bill. </p><p>It shall be up to the Commons to attempt to overrule such decision or deny it anonymously. </p><p>Members of Parliament are authorized to use the { {Support} } and { {Oppose} } templates as they cast their votes. </p><p>Thus I, the Lord Newcastle stamp my seal upon this document and present it to Parliament. </p>

<p>I grew tired of the standard British Empire Wiki logo and created our own using the actual HM Government logo. Should we keep it? Colour change (send hex codes), ideas for a different graphic wordmark? </p>
